Yes, The UN did it once again..!!
The UN listed 38 “Shameful” countries including China, Russia, Israel and India. Yes, your read it correct, the agency UN is so busy in making a new world, that it is preparing a list of shameful countries. Whole world knows that India and Israel are already fighting against terrorism, which is inflicted and imposed on them by their neighbouring countries, still India and Israel managed to make an entry to the list. Both of these countries are victim of Islamic terrorism.
However, absence of Pakistan, shows the biased nature of the UN. Pakistan is well known for crushing the minority human rights and has long been a incubator for growth of terrorists, still has managed to escape the list. This is not the first time UN has proved its brilliance, previously also it has prepared and published the biased reports on Kashmir. The list prepared under Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the UN has named countries which have carried out reprisals or intimidation against people cooperating with the UN on human rights by silencing them forever or through crackdowns and arrests. The annual report from the UN Secretary General included allegations of ill-treatment, surveillance, criminalization and public stigmatization campaigns targeting victims and human rights defenders.
“The world owes it to those brave people standing up for human rights, who have responded to requests to provide information to and engage with the United Nations, to ensure their right to participate is respected,” Guterres wrote.
“Punishing individuals for cooperating with the United Nations is a shameful practice that everyone must do more to stamp out.”
The 38 countries included 29 countries with new cases, and 19 with ongoing or continuing cases.
The new cases were in Bahrain, Cameroon, China, Colombia, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Hungary, India, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Mali, Morocco, Myanmar, Philippines, Russia, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, South Sudan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.
According to UN report, the women cooperating with UN, reported Rape and death threats and are too afraid to speak to UN Staff. UN Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Andrew Gilmour will present the report to the Human Rights Council next week. He said the cases in the report were the tip of iceberg.
The biased nature of UN is making it to lose its credibility and this way UN as an organisation is also touching new low. Such organisations are supposed to be honest in their functioning and reporting, however it seems these organisations are getting infected by the Islamic ideologist and dishonest stake holders. This should also be an indication that India should reconsider to look ahead of such bodies as this way such bodies are losing their credibility and relevance to the society.
